Course Objectives

To prepare students to pass the Federal Aviation Administration General, Airframe, and/or Powerplant rating written examination and to pass the oral and practical examination.

Test prerequisites

FAA authorization to test form 8610-02.

About

This course last about 5 to 7 days and is designed specifically to prepare students to take the FAA General, Airframe, and Powerplant examinations.  It covers all the FCC Knowledge Codes required of passing this difficult examination and includes an oral and practical review. It includes a review of aircraft systems, powerplants, structures and related components. Title 14 of the of Code of Federal Regulations, Advisory Circulars, Type Certificate Data Sheets, Airworthiness Directives, and FAA Knowledge Codes are explained.

Note

Individuals who do not wish to attend the entire course can elect to take the portion that they specialize in, be it Airframe or Powerplant. The General portion must accompany either section.

Cost

The cost of this entire course is only $1,000.00 .

Additiona expenses include Computer Testing Fees $450.00, $300.00 for books,  and DME fee $1,000.00. Cool Program or VA may pay all those extra costs ($1,750.00) for a qualified personnel.
